Matthias Mellinghaus, Bron’s Head of Production is responsible for handling the development and execution of live-action projects. Mellinghaus started his career in the film industry over 20 years ago after finishing his rowing career with an Olympic Gold medal. In 1993, Mellinghaus completed the film directing program at the Konrad Wolf Film University in Potsdam, Germany. While based in Berlin, he directed feature-length documentaries for German Television and started working as a 1st AD on German Independent features. Mellinghaus emigrated to Vancouver in 2001 and since then his focus has been on live-action drama, working as a 1st AD, Production Manager and Line Producer on over 30 Canadian productions.
