Synopsis:
Low-life agent for child actors, and a former child star himself, Howard Holloway’s life has been going down-hill for as long as he can remember. The talented kids he is able to find and groom always end up being lured away by the younger and flashier Aldo Shocklee, Howard’s biggest competition. The only thing going worse than Howard’s career is his social life, or rather, lack of one.
When Howard discovers 14 year-old acting prodigy Lydia it seems like his work life is finally going to change for the better. Soon he has landed Lydia the starring role in a 3-picture blockbuster film series, and he finally managed to get his gorgeous neighbour to go out with him. But when Howard stumbles across what appears to be Lydia’s dark secret of a home life filled with violence and sexual abuse at the hands of her father and manager, he must make a hard choice about doing what’s best for his career by turning a blind eye, or what might be best for the young star. Howard’s choice may lead to salvation or tragedy or maybe they will end up being one and the same.
