Summary:

We are seeking 2DFX Animators to join our team at Bron as we embark on development of our first animated feature film. We are looking for experienced and talented 2DFX Animators with a strong understanding of appeal, and a willingness to experiment. Working closely with the Director, the 2DFX Animators will help further develop and implement the style of 2DFX for the film. You have a passion for your craft, take direction well, remain calm under pressure and you are a great team player.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the director to help define and maintain the look & quality bar of the 2DFX in the show
• Work with the various department leads to establish work flow for 2DFX
• Work with CG animators to help plan for 2DFX timing and placement
• Work with Producer and coordinators to provide estimated delivery times for 2DFX animation
• Maintain a positive attitude throughout the production schedule
• Any other duties and responsibilities typically required of a 2DFX Animator as required at the Producer’s discretion

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Film, Animation and/or relevant industry experience
• Feature film level 2DFX Animation skills, and an expert level understanding of the animation principles
• Strong sense of timing and appeal
• Expertise in Toon Boom, Flash, or TV Paint
• Ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely
• Solid work ethic and positive attitude
