Summary:

Bron Animation is seeking Modeler/Look Dev Artists for our forthcoming animated feature film. We are seeking talented artists proficient at creating feature film quality assets. The Modeler/Look Dev artist is responsible for modeling, uv layout, texturing and shading set, character, and prop assets meeting the technical requirements of the production pipeline. The ideal candidate should posses a strong aesthetic sense with respect to form, color and appeal.

We are seeking a passionate artist who thrives in a team environment. You should be flexible, proactive, and able to deliver quality within production deadlines. You should be able to effectively and pro actively communicate issues with colleagues and openly adapt your work to the show’s notes and direction.

Responsibilities:

• Under the supervision of the Lead Modeler, create feature film quality modeled character, set and prop assets.
• Provide rigging and look dev ready assets that meet the technical requirements of the production pipeline.
• Provide UV layout, texturing, and shading of modeled assets.
• Any other responsibilities at Production’s discretion.

Requirements:

• Modeling/Animation Diploma or Fine Arts Degree and/or relevant industry experience
• High proficiency modeling/look dev in Maya
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.

Additional Desired Skills:

• Experience with PhotoShop, Mudbox, Zbrush, Renderman, Mari.
• Illustration and painting skills.
• Traditional drawing and life drawing skills.
