Aaron L. Gilbert
Chairman & CEO
Aaron L. Gilbert is the Chairman & CEO of BRON, a company he co-founded with wife Brenda Gilbert in 2010. The parent company BRON Media Corp., has divisions which include BRON Studios, BRON Creative, BRON Animation, BRON Ventures, BRON Releasing, and BRON Life. Gilbert, a former music industry and finance executive, has produced or executive produced more than 90 productions, with some of the industry’s most elite filmmakers and creators. Recent films include Clint Eastwood’s THE MULE, Denzel Washington’s FENCES, and Jason Reitman’s THE FRONT RUNNER. Upcoming pictures include Todd Philips’ JOKER, Melina Matsoukas’s QUEEN & SLIM, David Lowery’s THE GREEN KNIGHT, Jay Roach’s UNTITLED CHARLES RANDOLPH PROJECT, Taylor Sheridan’s THOSE WHO WISH ME DEAD, and Barry Levinson’s HARRY HAFT. Gilbert oversees the BRON group of companies while still playing an active role on the ground of many of the company’s productions. He is a member of the Canadian Academy, the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences and the Producers Guild of America.
Brenda Gilbert is the Co-Founder & President of BRON Media Corp., and the President of BRON Animation. She has been active in film and media initiatives for more than 20 years. Gilbert has produced, and executive produced a number of animated and live action productions including MIGHTY MIGHTY MONSTERS, HENCHMEN, THE WILLOUGHBYS, I SAW THE LIGHT, THE BIRTH OF A NATION, ALL RISE, BEATRIZ AT DINNER, THE NIGHTINGALE and ASSASSINATION NATION. Gilbert is instrumental in facilitating team development and leads BRON Animation with strategic corporate and operational planning. Her background includes many years at the British Columbia Securities Commission where she worked in the Finance, Enforcement, Legal & Communications Divisions.
Chief Operating Officer
Steven Thibault, the COO of BRON Media Corp., is a partner in the company he’s helped steer since 2012. He oversees all corporate operations, and production finance, and is key member of the management group. Thibault has helped grow BRON into an industry leader and has establised preferred relationships with production unions and guilds across the globe. He is part of every financial closing for the company, including its corporate facilities with Comerica, its more than 40 single picture production/financing deals, and its slate co-finan-cing ventures with Warner Brothers and MGM. Prior to BRON, he was an auditor with Ernst & Young working extensively with private and public studio clients in Canada and around the world. He currently serves as a board member of the Canadian Media Producer’s Association. Thibault also serves on several policy and advisory committees in the industry.
Chief Legal Officer
Joel Guralnick joined BRON in 2016 and currently serves as Chief Legal Officer of the BRON group of companies, overseeing all legal matters including film and television development and production as well as corporate development matters. He previously served as Chief Operating Officer for BRON. Prior to joining BRON, Guralnick led the Entertainment practice in the Vancouver office of Goodmans LLP where he worked on numerous film and television projects and served as General Counsel of Vision Critical Communications. Guralnick has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University, a law degree from the University of British Columbia and a Masters in Law from Osgoode Hall (York University) and is a member of the bar in British Columbia.
Chief Strategy Officer
Ashley Levinson previously served as the COO at Annapurna Pictures and has held high-level leadership positions with such prominent organizations as Soho House Group and the Sundance Institute. As Chief Strategy Officer at BRON, Levinson is responsible for fostering filmmaker and industry relationships and identifying key corporate opportunities across the group of companies, to include BRON Studios, BRON Animation, BRON Creative, and now BRON Ventures, while overseeing day-to-day operations of the LA studio.
Priscila Costa Lima
Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer, Priscila Costa Lima is responsible for developing and implementing financial procedures to improve and maintain the financial health of BRON’s group of companies. She provides strategic financial input and oversight for the senior management team. Prior to joining BRON Costa Lima was the Finance Director for Force Four Entertainment and the Controller for eOne Canadian Unscripted TV Division. Prior to making the move to the entertainment industry she worked in the mining/resource sector where she served as the CFO of Marlin Gold Mining Ltd. from 2010 to 2014. A CPA, CMA, Costa Lima holds a BBA in Finance with a joint Major in Economics from Simon Fraser University.
Chief Content Officer
As Chief Content Officer, Anjay Nagpal oversees the development, production, sales and distribution of live action film and television content. In this cross-functional role, he plays an instrumental part in creating and executing overall slate strategy for BRON. Previously he was the head of Focus World, a sub-division of Focus Features, where he sourced independent narrative and documentary films and oversaw their worldwide marketing and distribution. Nagpal also served as the Head of Business Development and Finance for FilmDistrict and GK Films/GK-TV and in Business Development and Operations at Sony.
Chief Business Affairs Officer
As Chief Business Affairs Officer of BRON, Rona Cosgrove oversees the business affairs for the motion picture and television departments for the BRON group of companies. Prior to joining BRON, Cosgrove was Executive Vice President and head of Business Affairs at Paramount Pictures, where she negotiated development, acquisition, co-production, animation and talent deals for the motion picture group. Cosgrove worked closely with the studio’s key producers and worked on such major franchises as MISSION IMPOSSIBLE, TRANSFORMERS, STAR TREK and WORLD WAR Z. Prior to her time at Paramount, she was a business and legal affairs executive at Revolution Studios where she negotiated development and production deals on more than fifty films. Cosgrove is currently a member of the State Bar of California and the Executive Branch of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. She has a Bachelor of Arts from Stanford University and a law degree from University of California at Berkeley.
Chief Marketing Officer
As the Chief Marketing Officer, Cassandra Butcher steers all marketing and promotional efforts for BRON titles by developing and implementing comprehensive publicity and promotional plans and integrated marketing strategies. Butcher joins BRON after serving for over a decade as Vice President, National Publicity at Fox Searchlight, where she contributed to dozens of release campaigns and awards campaigns which garnered high recognition including THE SHAPE OF WATER, THREE BILLBOARDS, BEAST OF THE SOUTHERN WILD, BELLE, THE BEST EXOTIC MARIGOLD HOTEL, CRAZY HEART, and 12 YEARS A SLAVE. Prior to her time with Fox Searchlight, she was a unit publicist on films for Paramount, Screen Gems, Lionsgate, and MTV Films, including important films like HUSTLE AND FLOW, HIGHER LEARNING, COACH CARTER, and RAY. Butcher is a member of the Motion Picture Academy of Arts & Sciences; and the Publicist Guild.
EVP International Television
David Davoli is the Executive Vice President of International Television at BRON Studios, operating out of the company’s New York office. Davoli co-heads the television group. Prior to joining the television group, Davoli was Senior Vice President of Business Affairs where he closed countless deals with respect to BRON’s active feature film and television slate and sourced and structured several international TV co-productions. Before joining BRON, Davoli was in private practice for 13 years as an entertainment attorney where he worked as production, finance or distribution counsel on over 50 independent film, television and new media programs, and spent a decade developing a keen knowledge of the international marketplace. Davoli is also a classically trained draftsman of the human figure and continues to train every morning at his studio in Chelsea.
EVP Domestic Television
Pippa Lambert runs Domestic Television for BRON Studios. In her role, she and International EVP, David Davoli oversee the BRON Studios creative teams to develop, package, finance and sell premium content. Lambert joins BRON with a 20-year career in global TV. She gained her experience in distribution, packaging, sales and finance at companies including Endeavor Content where she was Senior Associate, ICM Partners where she ran the London TV office as Senior Packaging Agent, and All3Media where she was an Acquisitions Executive. Lambert has worked in premium documentaries, non-scripted, scripted, digital, formats, animation and stage.
SVP Post Production
Andria Spring is the SVP of Post Production at BRON Studios where she oversees the completion and delivery of all media properties. With over ten years of experience in film & television, she has worked with dozens of buyers ranging from HBO, to Sony, to Lionsgate. She is proud to draw on her experiences as an in-house producer at Anagram Pictures, and as a project manager at one of Vancouver’s leading DI facilities. Spring helms from the University of British Columbia’s Film & Theatre department, where she completed her BA in film production.
SVP Business Affairs
Adam Davids has been the counsel for either production, finance or distribution on over 50 films and works with both talent and institutions in the entertainment industry. Davids holds a Master of Arts from Columbia University, received his JD from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and is a Level I CFA. Prior to practicing law, Davids was Vice President – International of the New York Institute of Finance, Chief Executive Officer of the Global Association of Risk Professionals, financial director for the electronic music conference M3 and provided training services to the National Association of Securities Dealers (now FINRA) and the CFA Institute. He has been designated a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers in 2015 and 2016.
VP Human Resources
Kam Dhillon-Josh oversees all the HR needs at BRON including recruiting, retention and employee engagement. She obtained an undergraduate degree, and then her MBA, from the University of Victoria and prior to joining BRON worked with Prime Focus Creative Services where she was the Human Resources Manager. Before entering the entertainment industry she worked extensively in e-commerce where she acted as the Director of Customer Service and Director of Human Resources with Clearly Contacts and Coastal Contacts Inc.
VP Marketing & Publicity
Amanda Archibald is responsible for overseeing creative marketing and positioning of BRON film and television productions as well as shaping the company’s public facing identity. Archibald has over fifteen years of experience and has been active in the international rollout of many commercially and critically successful films including John Carney’s BEGIN AGAIN, J.C. Chandor’s MARGIN CALL and Mel Gibson’s Academy Award Winner HACKSAW RIDGE.
VP Strategic Analysis
As VP of Strategic Analysis, Neil Shah is responsible for evaluating various aspects of film and TV projects from the financing through the distribution stages. Prior to joining BRON, Shah worked at Open Road Films, advising senior management on financing and distribution strategy; and was VP of Film and TV Financing at Grosvenor Park Media, a media financier, where he worked to secure production financing for independent film and TV projects. Before making the shift to the entertainment industry, he worked as an investment banker at Barclays and Citigroup. Shah is a graduate of NYU’s Stern School of Business.
Since 2015 Matthias Mellinghaus has been responsible for handling the development and execution of live-action projects. Mellinghaus started his career in the film industry over 20 years ago after finishing his rowing career with an Olympic Gold medal. In 1993, Mellinghaus completed the film-directing program at the Konrad Wolf Film University in Potsdam, Germany and while based in Berlin he directed feature-length documentaries for German Television and started working as a 1st AD on German Independent features. Since 2001 and his move to North America his focus has been on live-action drama, working as a 1st AD, Production Manager and Line Producer on over 30 productions.
VP Digital Content & Strategy
In addition to overseeing all corporate digital initiatives at BRON, Alissa Norby will lead digital content and campaign strategy for BRON’s film, television, animation and new media slate, implementing strategic digital planning and analysis to support the studio from project submission stage through production and release. Norby has produced worldwide digital campaigns for a wide variety of film and television tentpoles including “The Big Bang Theory,” “Friends,” HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA, RALPH BREAKS THE INTERNET and THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN. Most recently Norby developed in global social media strategy for Lionsgate’s Motion Picture Group and previously lead digital marketing for Fox Searchlight where she managed campaigns for such films as THE SHAPE OF WATER, THREE BILLBOARDS OUTSIDE EBBING MISSOURI, and ISLE OF DOGS. Prior to Searchlight, she oversaw digital marketing for Legendary’s Television division on titles such as Netflix’s “Lost in Space,” Hulu’s “The Looming Tower,” and Amazon’s “The Expanse.”
Head of Story
Garrick Dion joined BRON as its VP of Development in 2014, following an 8-year run in a similar role with LA based Bold Films. During his time at Bold, Dion was involved with such acclaimed projects as: the Sundance Grand Jury Prize-winning drama WHIPLASH and Nicholas Winding Refn’s DRIVE and oversaw Dan Gilroy’s directorial debut NIGHTCRAWLER. Prior to joining Bold, he worked in feature development for producers Joel Silver (THE MATRIX) and Denise DiNovi (BATMAN), and as a story editor on the feature documentaries THE YEAR OF THE YAO and SO GOES THE NATION. Dion has served on several international festival juries including Sitges and Fantasia and in addition to his Development role, Dion leads THE REALM, BRON’s genre label and is producing or co-producing all of THE REALM productions.
Board of Directors
John has a diverse background, first graduating from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a BS in Electrical Engineering and creating the Shareware hit “The Dungeon of Doom”, before entering the rigid plastic packaging business. He partnered with First Atlantic Capital in 2004 to grow it from the then $90M US to over to over $300M US in just four years. In 2008 he diversified his interests in the US while maintaining a packaging business in Europe. Sitting on the other side of the Private Equity table has taken many forms where the common theme has been both promoting a better world and a return to his first love, technology. As a Spirit of Innovation member at the XPrize Foundation, he has seeded the development of an XPrize in the education sector and as part of Raymonds Capital, LLC, he has become the lead investor for the re-launch of Reading Rainbow. The most active investment to date, and for the long term ahead, is the partnership founded with BRON.
Jason M. Cloth

Jason is a Director of Bron Media Corp. and the founder / Managing Partner of Creative Wealth Media in Toronto. He began his career in 1988 as a Fixed Income Economist for CIBC/Wood Gundy and holds a graduate degree in Economics. Jason founded Creative Wealth Management Group Inc in 1992 and partnered with a Toronto based Merchant Bank to provide financing on more than 40 film and television productions. Jason joined BRON Studios in September 2014 in a key strategic financial and investor management role. Jason has executive produced more than 30 feature films with producer BRON Studios, along the way raising in excess of $400 million for the film industry. He is credited on such films as Denzel Washington’s FENCES (Paramount), THE BIRTH OF A NATION (Fox Searchlight), I SAW THE LIGHT (Sony Classics), Roman J. Israel (Sony) and Charlize Theron’s Tully (Focus / Universal).
Dr. Joseph Gilbert
Board of Directors
After graduation from Medical School at McGill University in Montreal, Joe completed residency programs in Neurology and Neuropathology at Case Western Reserve University before joining the Departments of Pathology and Clinical Neurological Sciences at the University of Western Ontario. He was V.P. Medical Affairs, V.P. Research and ultimately the CAO of two research units at University and St Joseph’s Hospitals. He was responsible for the administration of research grants, as well as capital projects for research facility construction. He also held leadership positions for national organizations, which interfaced with Federal granting agencies and Provincial associations. Since his retirement in 2006, Joe has chaired the Health Sciences Research Ethics Board at Western.

Pat has been in the entertainment and financial services industries for over 30 years, with broad experience in finance, business affairs, production, distribution, strategic planning and investment banking in the film, television and related media industries. He has been a senior finance and operations executive for a number of entertainment companies, including HBO, IMAX Corporation, Avenue Pictures and InterMedia. He has had a significant role in the financing, production and distribution of over 75 feature film and television projects, as well as the development of production studios in Europe, Asia and North America. Pat is also a partner in Los Angeles Media Fund, and is President of Patrician Capital Management. Pat has a BA, MA and MBA all from UCLA.
